Participation Agreement

Please read this text. Signing up for this Alchemical Alignment-related Course means that you agree to its contents.

Alchemical Alignment Permissions, Agreements:

I consent to the receiving of healing work in this Alchemical Alignment group course. I understand that the basic purpose of this course is learning re-regulation of the body.

Any information shared with me is educational in nature. Meditations, group sessions and demos are not meant to take the place of medical, chiropractic, psychiatric, or psychotherapeutic consultation. I understand that it is not a function of this group course to diagnose any health conditions, or to prescribe.

I understand that AlchAlmt cannot make any promises or guarantees with regard to healing specific health challenges.

I take full responsibility for my wellbeing before, during, and after the current workshop, including movement and energy/bodywork experiences. I am in good enough physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual condition, and independently choose to participate in the session.

I understand that AlchAlmt recommends all persons here to be in relationship (before, during and after courses) with trusted healthcare providers, and that they are not available to provide individual sessions during such a course.

I agree that I will not give feedback to another person in the course without negotiating their permission. I will use “I statements,” and I will honor the boundaries that are set. I agree to keep anonymous and confidential other participants’ process and sharing unless given their explicit permission.

In the group, I will work within the scope of practice of the material taught in class. Afterward, I understand that having participated does not grant certification or licensing to practice bodywork, or to call myself a trauma specialist or expert. I will continue to work within the scope of practice determined by governing bodies to which I am responsible. I will not claim to be trained in or practicing Alchemical Alignment, Somatic Experiencing, Biodynamic Craniosacral, or Feldenkrais, unless I have taken such trainings.

I understand that the information provided as part of this group remains the copyright of Alchemical Alignment or individual teacher, and as such any requests to copy, reproduce, publish, share, etc., may only occur with express written permission.

I give permission for information and/or recordings from my sharing to be used, keeping me anonymous, in AlchAlmt personal supervision sessions, and educational or promotional material. I understand that payment is due before or at the beginning of class. If I need to change or cancel my participation, I am aware of the cancellation policy: no refunds. I agree to hold AlchAlmt, Brigit Viksnins, Kimberly Clark, Tele Darden, Joseph Saine, other teachers, and classmates harmless in any injury, liability, or loss I may incur as a result of attending this workshop.

I understand that preparation time before, and integration time after, will make my experience that much more rich and worthwhile.
